ISLAMABAD: The federal capital on Saturday reported only four new Covid-19 cases, the lowest daily figure in the last over five months.
According to official data, four people were tested positive out of 2,620 tests run in the high-risk areas.
Out of four cases, one each was reported from sector I-8/2, sector E-11/4, sector E-11/3 and Tarlai.
With the emergence of four new cases, the tally of coronavirus cases in the city has risen to 15,346, of which 13,100 have completely recovered, and 173 have died.
It says that the total number of active cases in the city is 2,246. As per the data, 85.36 percent patients have recovered, and 14.64 percent are still active in the city.
