TEXT: Every year, the 14th of August arrives as a reminder of the life changing sacrifices of millions of Muslims who had to leave their homes in search for dignified lives. In search of harmony to enable specifically the Muslims and generally all other religions the right to freely practice their religious beliefs without fear of persecution on this piece of land which was later named as Pakistan. Our forefathers forewent trials that are unimaginable for most of us in the modern age. The Fauji Fertilizer Company seeks to remember those events as a source of inspiration to better serve the nation.

FFC, is an associate company of Fauji Foundation (known as Fauji Group) who then made a decision to invest in the fertilizer sector when Pakistan was facing population growth and undergoing industrialization in 1970s which was required to sustain its welfare projects. Thus FFC was born in 1978 and has now become a leader in the fertilizer industry of Pakistan. Now FFC has diversified its business entering into the Banking sector, food processing technology and wind power in Pakistan.

Financially FFC is amongst the highest contributors to the national economy. The recognition of Company's ethics and values internationally is a source of pride for Pakistan. FFC has always remained amongst the highest taxpaying companies in Pakistan. FFC has been declared 1st for nine consecutive years amongst the top 25 companies on PSX since 2010. FFC is proud to be, one of the highest dividend payout ratios for the shareholders.

As the world copes with the unexpected implications of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are confronting a human emergency dissimilar to any we have ever encountered. The rippling effects of this pandemic on our already fragile economic posture are much adverse, therefore, the frail social fabric is under extreme pressure. The pandemic has posed a serious threat around the globe, impacting humanity without distinction.

Owing to this gargantuan challenging situation, FFC once again took the lead and in these extremely trying and uncertain conditions and provided solace to the customers and communities through provision of rations to 8,700 family at Goth Machhi and Mirpur Mathelo.

FFC takes pride in placing its community, customers and country on top priority. We are deeply concerned about the health and safety of our employees and their families and well-being of our farmers and the communities. These difficult times are indeed giving us an opportunity to look inward, reflect on what truly matters, and connect with ourselves and loved ones on a deeper level, which personify strength of the human spirit to endure.

Pakistan Zindabad!
