Hungary central bank says key inflation gauge 4.1pc in July vs 3.5pc in June

BUDAPEST: The Hungarian central bank's tax-adjusted core inflation gauge rose to 4.1pc in July after a 3.5pc reading in June, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
The official inflation rate jumped to 3.8pc from 2.9pc in the prior month, while core inflation rose to a seven-year high of 4.5pc year-on-year.
