KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 24,195.20 points with a negative change of -219.72 and volume of 102,555,600 shares. High and Low were 24,513.68 and 24,080.67 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 2 were up, 28 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 206,987,800 shares. Total companies traded were 370 of which 76 were positive, 280 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 27,381,500 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 22,337,100 shares.
