SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down 0.26 percent in morning trade Friday on persistent concerns over the slowing domestic economy, but losses were limited by bargain-hunting, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 5.69 points at 2,180.61.
