ISLAMABAD: National Conference legislator, Muhammad Akbar Lone, in Indian occupied Kashmir, shouted pro-Pakistan slogans in the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Saturday to counter BJP MLAs who were shouting anti-Pakistan slogans.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Akbar Lone talking to mediamen said that he was a Muslim first and his sentiments were hurt when the BJP MLAs were shouting anti-Pakistan slogans. “I couldn’t control my emotions and raised Pakistan Zindabad slogans,” he added.

Earlier, the House was adjourned amid chaos over speaker’s controversial remarks against Rohingyas.

Speaker Kavinder Gupta had earlier alleged the presence of Rohingyas led to attack on an army camp in Sunjwan area of Jammu, today. Members of the opposition parties sought apology from the Speaker for his remarks.
