KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, on Thursday called on Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Sindh Minister for Local Government, Agha Siraj Durrani.
Qaim Ali Shah and Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan expressed their satisfaction over the continuing consultation on local government affairs.
They hoped that the coalition parties would develop consensus on devising a system in accordance with the aspirations of the people.
The on-going development projects in the province and other matters also came up for discussion during the meeting.
The Governor and the Chief Minister stressed that efforts be ensured without any distinction for the completion of development works and provision of facilities.
They were of the view that the process of reconciliation would bear fruits when its benefits reach the masses.
It was also agreed that for the betterment of the province and the metropolis the implementation of the decisions and announcements be ensured.
