Managing Director Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman (Retd) has announced that one family member of the Bhoja air crash victim will be taken free of cost to Islamabad from Karachi. PIA will also make special arrangements for bringing back the dead bodies from Islamabad to Karachi, a statement issued here said.
The family members may please contact the PIA counters at Karachi airport at 5:00am (Saturday morning) for identification after which boarding cards will be offered to them free of cost. Meanwhile, PIA spokesman said that the national flag carried was deeply grieved over the unfortunate crash of the ill-fated Bhoja Airplane with 127 persons on board. He said that on hearing the news of the tragic air crash, PIA immediately activated its Emergency Response Centre (ERC) to provide maximum possible assistance to the families of the deceased and rescue operations on the site.
Besides, help desk for the convenience of the relatives of the passengers at Karachi and Islamabad have also been activated.
