Jamaat-e-Islami, Ameer, Syed Munawar Hasan, has strongly condemned the expansion of federal cabinet and has term the induction of new ministers and secretaries would put an extra burden on the national ex-chequer. In a press statement issued on Thursday he said that people had become sick of the PPP led government as it had been increasing their hardships by souring prices on daily basis including gas and electric load shedding.
"The electricity load shedding crisis was deliberately created. When government pays its dues to power generating companies, the load shedding reduces to minimum level," he added. He said that the rulers had introduced new term of fuel adjustment in order to fleecing the poor masses whereas they were not ready to abandon their luxurious life-style.
He said due to the bad governance and ill policies of the government the economic and agricultural sectors had almost ruined. He said the government's stubbornness and ego had dented the prestige of the apex court. It was openly flouting the orders of the Supreme Court, he added. He said that government had taken the corruption and favouritism to its peak threatening the security of the country. The rulers were seeking pleasure of India in order to appease the US, he added.
