District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal has said that he will solve the issues faced by traders on priority basis; decisions regarding markets will be taken with their consultation. He expressed these views while addressing a reception given by the traders of Gullberg and Model Town here on Thursday. MPA Dr Saeed Elahi, SP Model Town and officers of City District Government Lahore (CDGL) also attended in the reception.
The DCO Lahore said he will visit every market of Lahore to solve the problems of traders. He also said every step will be taken to solve their problems. On the occasion, traders informed the DCO Lahore about the problems of parking and encroachment in the markets. The DCO Lahore assured for an early solution.
Meanwhile, the DCO Lahore also attended a reception hosted by CDGL Staff Union at the Town Hall. On this occasion he said the problems of CDGL employees will be solved on priority basis, while he will try to redress the issues faced by work-charge employees soon. Rights of CDGL employees will be protected, he added.
