The consultant of Punjab Resource Management Programme (PRMP) Dr David Hadrill has called on University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha on Wednesday at Vice Chancellor secretariat.
They discussed on emergency response during natural calamities and agreed that practical training in this regard should be imparted to students' as well veterinary officers.
Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that the UVAS students had played an active role during flood in southern Punjab. He said this institution was imparting quality veterinary education in Lahore for the last 130 years. He said the UVAS was playing its effective role in the leather, poultry, meat and dairy technology.
Professor Pasha said the university had developed research collaboration and signed 25 MoUs with many international institutions to upgrade the standard of education. He said the varsity was making efforts to provide quality education.
