During the survey of identification of industrial units in residential areas in district Lahore, 306 industrial units have been identified so far.
According to a City District Government Lahore's spokesperson on Wednesday, the monitoring teams have pointed out 113 industrial units situated in residential areas during three days.
According to details, nine industrial units identified by teams at Ravi Town, 12 industrial units at Data Gunj Baksh Town, 13 at Gulberg Town, 19 at Aziz Bhatti Town, 10 at Iqbal Town, 10 at Shalimar Town, 12 at Samanabad Town while 16 industrial units pointed out at Nishtar Town and 12 at Wagha Town during last 72 hour. A report has been presented to District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore, Noorul Amin Mengal, in this regard.
Meanwhile, on the directions of the DCO Lahore, action has been taken against profiteers in the city. The Price Control Magistrates checked 532 shops during last three days and challan 98 shops while 8 cases were registered; overall Rs 56,000 fine was imposed.
