KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has directed FIA to find out the names of manufacturers of exploded substandard CNG and LPG cylinders in public transport vehicles and take action against these companies.
Talking to newsmen after presiding over a meeting of banks at the State Guest House here Wednesday, he also appealed to the public to provide information to the police about any explosion of gas cylinders in their houses so that action can be taken against the culprits.
Responding to a question, the Minister said that PPP and its allies are united and the coalition government will complete its tenure. The aspirants must wait till the next elections which will be held on time, he added.
To another question, he said that President Asif Ali Zardari was healthy and PPP is united so is the nation, therefore, nothing will happen till then.
