Wheat, Irri 6 prices lower on grain market

Declining trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday in process of slow trading, dealers said. On the cereal side, wheat old Bardan (old stock) lost Rs 25 to Rs 2725 and wheat new Bardan (old stock) also shed the same amount to Rs 2775, wheat New Bardan (new stock) also fell by Rs 10 to Rs 2610, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 3600 and the good quality was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 3700 in process of lean business, they said. On the seed side, rapeseed Mirpurlane low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 2300 and the best quality dropped by Rs 25 to Rs 2325 and cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low variety fell by Rs 150 to Rs 450 and good type inched down by Rs 50 to Rs 700, other items also maintained overnight levels, they added.
