Pakistani community in Germany and officials of the embassy celebrated the 72nd Pakistan Day at Pakistan embassy in Berlin on Friday. A flag hoisting ceremony to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the historic Pakistan Resolution was held, said a message received here from Berlin, Germany.
Charge d' Affairs, Pakistan Embassy, Dr Mazhar Javed hoisted the national flag with national anthem playing in the background in an impressive ceremony. It was largely attended by Pakistani community residing in Berlin and its surrounding cities and officials of the embassy.
Charge d' Affairs read out Pakistan Day messages of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minster Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani. Charge d' Affairs Dr Mazhar Javed while congratulating the Pakistani community urged them to be united and strive for earning a good name for their country.
