Thousand of farmers took out a big protest rally here on Monday against the apathetic attitude of the government for not paying the compensation to the farmers whose crops were completely washed-out during the monsoon ravaging flood in 2010.
The rally was led by Rana Waqar Ahmed, Kamliel Dogar, Rana Nasir Manj, Rana Muhammad Hanif, Rana Waheed, Chaudhry Hameed Rashid, Chaudhry Shahbaz Gil, Lumberdar Agistan, Shamoon Astifan, Roban Lal and Dr Petrik.
