A delegation of about 200 lawyers of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (SCBAP) will leave for India on Wednesday to interact with legal fraternity in Chandigarh and Delhi. The delegation will cross Wagha border on March 21 and travel to Chandigarh to attend a seminar at the Chandigarh Bar Association.
On 23 March, a conference of lawyers from India and Pakistan will be inaugurated by Justice Altamas Kabir at Habitat Centre, Delhi. The topic of the conference is "Strengthening Administration of Justice and upholding the Rule of Law". Amongst the prominent lawyers who are visiting include President SCBAP, Yasin Azad, Muneer A Malik, Tariq Mahmood, Ali Ahmed Kurd and Asma Jahangir former presidents SCBAP, a press statement on Tuesday said.
