PML-N condemns attack on TV channel's office

President Pakistan Muslim League-N and former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Tuesday have strongly condemned the incidents of firing and ransacking of the private TV channel office in Karachi, cutting of its cables in different areas and harassment of the staff engaged in restoring its telecast and described it as an attack on the freedom of media.
In their separate statements during the day, they said that they were standing with the media in safeguarding the freedom of press. They stressed upon Federal government and Sindh government to immediately probe the matter and take measures for awarding due punishment to the elements involved.
