Chairman, Law and Order Committee of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (Kati), Nadeem Khan has urged the President, Prime Minister and Federal Minister for Interior to constitute a committee to monitor criminal activities in the city and suggest ways to apprehend criminals.
In letters to Asif Ali Zardari, Yousif Raza Gilani and A. Rehman Malik, he expressed concern over increasing incidents of extortion of money, persisting law and order condition, kidnapping for ransom and threatening calls to traders and industrialists He suggested that the committee should be headed by Rehman Malik and have representatives of KCCI, , FPCCI, and chairman's of law and order committees of all the seven industrial town associations of the city.
Nadeem Khan further suggested that the committee should meet at least once a week and take account of criminal activities in the city and evolve measures and ways to tackle the situation. He said that business community must unite and take joint stand on the issues to gent them resolved.
