International Chicago Labour Lifetime Achievement Award for Zardari

The International Chicago Labour Confederation (Pakistan Chapter) has announced International Chicago Labour Lifetime Achievement Award for President Asif Ali Zardari. Announcement to this effect was made at a special meeting of the central committee of the International Chicago Labour Confederation (Pakistan chapter) presided over by Chairman of the Confederation Dr Azam Arrain here on Tuesday.
The award has been announced in recognition of his role in Industrial Relations Act, Labour Policy 2010, Re-instatement in service of 14,000 Employees, Regularisation of 72,000 Contract and Daily Wages Employees and 100 percent increase in salaries of government servants during the last four years.
