FC foils major sabotage bid on Pakistan Day

Foiling a major terror bid on Pakistan Day, security forces have seized arms and explosives from a vehicle near Noshki, officials said on Monday. Acting on a tip-off, an FC team pursued a suspicious vehicle near Lijje Village of district Noshki and took custody of it after a brief exchange fire with the miscreants who left the vehicle behind and vanished into nearby mountains while taking advantage of darkness.
During search, the security officials recovered five AK-47s with hundreds of rounds, one rocket launcher with four rounds, three hand grenades and scores of 8mm rounds. The officials said that the arms and explosives were being smuggled into area for sabotage purpose on Pakistan Day.
