Light rain likely in twin cities today

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecast chances of light rain with dust thunderstorm in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi during next 24 hours which will turn the weather pleasant.
An official of Met office informed APP the twin cities are likely to receive light rain with dust thunderstorm on today (Monday). According to synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting Northern areas of the country. The areas including Malakand, Gilgit Baltistan, Hazara Division, Peshawer, Gujranwala and Kashmir will receive isolated rain along with thunderstorm and light snowfall over the hills. However, the weather will remain dry in other parts of Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, the official said.
