Assassination of Abdul Rasheed condemned

Ulema and students of local seminaries on Sunday staged a demonstration to condemn the assassination of a renowned scholar and talker of Radio Pakistan Abdul Rasheed Azhar who was killed by unknown assailant in Islamabad.
More than 100 activists took part in the demo led by Mufti Abdul Rehman Shaheen and Qari Hidayatullah Rehmani. Demonstrators were demanding immediate arrest of the killers. Addressing the demo Mufti Shaheen said, "when a religious scholar in country's capital is not secure then how can other expect their security in other cities?"
