President Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Punjab Imtiaz Safdar Warraich on Saturday has criticised the PML-N for creating rumpus in the joint parliamentary session for President address. Talking to Business Recorder, he said that the PML-N criticism against President Zardari was highly uncalled for and there was no justification for any such episode. It is criticism for the sake of criticism, he said.
It may be noted that the President praised the government's achievements amid shouts of slogans by the opposition benches, shouting insults through much of the first half of the address, accusing the government of "looting and plundering." Warraich said that the PML-N has ruined all principles of Parliamentary system and painted a bad picture of Pakistan before the world.
According to him, the PML-N has lost ground after fifth time address of President Asif Ali Zardari to the Parliament. He said that the PPP has written history by ensuring continuity of democracy in the country despite all odd circumstances. The PPP Punjab President said the PPP would perform equally in next general elections to be held in 2013 and President Zardari would complete another term in presidency.
