To share the knowledge and experiences of mango export gained under Australia-Pakistan Agriculture Sector Linkages Program (ASLP) Mango Supply Chain Management Project a Mango Stakeholders Workshop for all the stakeholders including growers, contractors, commission agents, exporters, agricultural officers and academia personnel was held at Karachi on Monday.
General Manager (South) Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Company Razzaq Malkana welcomed to the participant and chief guest Ajaz Ali Khan, Secretary to the government of Sindh, Department of Agriculture. Sohail Ayyaz, Project Development Officer shared success findings of ASLP phase-I, background and objectives of the second phase with the audience.
Speaking at the occasion Ajaz Ali Khan appreciated the activities of the project and assured every kind of support by government of Sindh. Dr Amanullah Malik, Professor, Postharvest Research, & Training Centre, Institute of Horticulture Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad shared the postharvest research findings. Ziaur Rehman, Senior Manager, PHDEC presented the international market research conducted by project in 2011.-PR
