KESC, industrial bodies: Shazia for improved contacts

The Sindh Minister for information and Electric Power, Ms. Shazia Marri, stressed that there should be increased contacts between the industrialists' bodies and the Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC). She was chairing a meeting of the industrialists as well as of the KESC officials here on Sunday.
A statement said that she held the meeting on the directive of the Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Ms. Shazia opined that the lack of such contacts gives rise to misunderstandings. She stressed that the representatives of the industrialists' bodies and the officials of the KESC should foster contacts as this would help remove misunderstandings among the industrialists. The Minister asked the KESC administration that before severing connection of any industrial unit, the office bearers of that industrial zone should be taken into confidence as this will help remove the misunderstandings.
