Former MPA's bail extended

The Lahore High Court extending the bail of former MPA Haji Emdad Hussain, and adjourned the proceedings with the directions to resolve the matter amicably. Earlier, investigating officer informed the court that the applicant had grabbed 1.8 million from a citizen in the name of purchase of a plot.
He said investigation is being carried out and it needs further interrogation of the applicant. He, therefore, prayed to the court to cancel his interim bail. The court, however, directed the lawyers to resolve the matter amicably and adjourned the proceedings without fixing next date of hearing.
