Pakistan’s defeat against India an ‘eye opener’, says Ramiz Raja

Pakistan former batsman turned cricket analyst, Ramiz Raja, has called for serious revision in the under age cricket of the country.
The former captain was of the view that losing games at Under 19 level is not a major concern, however, the ‘margin of defeat’ does raise serious questions.
“At Under 19 level, losing games should not come as a shock as it is a learning curve for young apprentices but margin of defeat that Pakistan Under 19 suffered at the hands of India Under 19 is, I am afraid, shocking and an eye opener,” he said on social media. “Let’s reset and redo under age cricket please.”

Raja's statement comes after Pakistan lost to India in the semi finals of the U-19 World Cup on Tuesday. The green shirts suffered a humiliating loss by 203 runs, after the entire team collapsed on 69 runs, with more than 20 overs remaining.
