Mixed sentiments prevailed on the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) on Tuesday. And the equities ended in positive zone amid decreased trading volume. The LSE-25 index was marginally improved by 3.42 points to close at 3386.00 against 3382.58 of Monday while transaction volume was restricted to 5.525 million shares as compared to last day volume of 6.029 million shares.
The losers were more than the gainers, as out of a total of 109 active issues, 24 registered gain, 27 went down while 58 companies remained unchanged at their previous closing. Lucky Cement gained Rs 3.45, Attock Refinery was improved by Rs 2.52 and National Bank of Pakistan was appreciated by Rs 2.48. In the negative column Fauji Fertiliser lost Rs 2.95, Pakistan Refinery was declined by Rs 2.88 while PSO was down by Rs 2.29. The Bank of Punjab was the market leader whose 1.613 million shares changed hands followed by the Pace Pakistan with 576,245 shares.
