Mehran University is going to organise the second international conference from February 27 to 29. Uqaili Conference Chairman Professor Dr Muhammad Aslam said this while addressing a press conference at Hyderabad Press Club here on Saturday.
He said the inaugural session would be arranged on February 27, while Dr Manzoor H Soomro, Chairman, Pakistan Science Foundation would the chief guest of this session. Professor Dr A Q K Rajput, Vice Chancellor, Dr Fayyaz Ali Memon, UK, Professor B K Bala, Bangladesh, Professor Susan Buckingham, UK would address the inaugural session.
More than 100 research papers will be presented in the conference by the researchers of local and international educational, research and industrial organisations of the world. More than 25 presenters belong to UK, Jordan, Canada, Yugoslavia, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, USA, India, Iran, Malaysia, Slovak Republic, Nepal China, Indonesia and Japan.
More than a dozen researchers of high reputation are invited for their keynote speeches on the current issues of 'Energy and Environment and Sustainable Development.' Three sessions will be running simultaneously; Energy Conservation and Management, Renewable and Emerging Energy Systems.
After two days, technical session, a cultural evening and a tour to historical places of Thatta including Keenjhar Lake would be included in the conference schedule. He said the first conference was organised very successfully in 2009, in which more than 300 participants from all over the world attend the conference. The proceedings, recommendations of the conference were published by and international organisation, Springer Wien New York, USA, he said.
