Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will start a mass contact campaign in the rural areas of Lahore region from February 27 to 29 and Party Chairman Imran Khan will address the people and party workers at 60 different places. PTI President Lahore Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed disclosed this while addressing a press conference here on Saturday.
He said PTI leaders Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Javed Hashmi, Ahsan Rasheed and Mian Azhar would join Imran Khan in the campaign. He also said the campaign would start from the surroundings of Sheikupura and Nankana Sahib on February 27, and would conclude at Sharaqpur Sharif on February 29. According to him, the second phase of the campaign will start from March 7 to cover other parts of Punjab's rural areas. For security arrangements, the concerned district administrations have been informed about the campaign.
