British police bail pair in computer hacking probe

British police released on bail Saturday two men arrested in a computer hacking probe running alongside the inquiry into phone hacking at Rupert Murdoch's British newspaper stable. On Friday officers arrested a 50-year-old man at his home in Hertfordshire, north of London, and a 51-year-old man at an address in Surrey, south-west of the capital. The men, who have not been named, were bailed to return on dates in June and July.
They were arrested by officers from Scotland Yard's Operation Tuleta, which was set up to investigate allegations regarding breach of privacy. Both men were held on suspicion of committing offences under British computer misuse laws and a law regulating the use of investigatory powers, a Scotland Yard statement said.
