Strangulated body of a woman was found from her house located in the Bin Qasim area in the limits of Ibrahim Hyderi police station, here on Friday. According to police, the victim, identified as Alima Bibi, 55, wife of Late Nabi Bux, was the resident of slum area located near water pumping station, Bin Qasim.
They said the body was recovered on the information of her children and added that she was the mother of nine. SHO Naik Mohammad Jakhrani said that at the time of incident, the family members of the victim had gone to Larkana to attend a marriage ceremony of their relatives while two of their children were present in the house, adding that they did not see anyone at the place.
He said the family members informed police that the deceased had serious dispute with her son-in-law over the second marriage of her daughter after divorce. He said they suspect to have his son-in-law's involvement behind the murder. Earlier, the body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where doctors declared suffocation as the cause of death.
