Brother and widow of trader Muhammad Zahid who was killed for ransom, appealed Chief Minister Punjab for provision of police security. While addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Abdul Aziz, brother of Zahid said that they are feeling insecurity after release of the accused Irfan and Shakeel in the case.
He said CJ Pakistan on their appeal had directed the Punjab government for their security but after killing of proclaim offender Wajid Ali in a police encounter police security was withdrawn. He said now after the release of the two accused, they feeling insecurity again as they were receiving life threats. They therefore demanded the Chief Minister Punjab for police security till the conclusion of their case from Supreme Court. They also appealed the Chief Justice Pakistan to hear their case and disposed of the same in accordance with the law.
