RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 24,894.91 points with a negative change of -99.99 and volume of 199,906,900 shares. High and Low were 25,050.19 and 24,576.64 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 16 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 270,755,670 shares. Total companies traded were 357 of which 149 were positive, 179 were negative and 29 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 41,305,500 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 37,008,800 shares.
