SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down 0.47 percent in morning trade Tuesday, as concerns over the debt crisis in Europe and China's slowing economy persisted, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 10.39 points at 2,207.85.
