Prisoner dies in Jail hospital

A prisoner of murder case died due to protracted illness in the hospital of Central Jail here on Sunday. According to a spokesman of the Prisons department, Muhammad Rafiq of Chak No 72 South Sargodha was arrested by the Khushab police in a murder case.
However, later he was shifted from Khushab to Central Jail Faisalabad where he started facing dilapidated condition due to attack of some disease. He was shifted to Jail Hospital, where he expired despite hectic efforts of the doctors for his survival. The dead body was handed over to his relatives for burial after completing necessary legal formalities, the spokesman added.
