A former member of National Assembly and ex-chairman of Independent Group in the NA, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) late on Friday night. His announcement came after PTI Chairman Imran Khan visited his home to invited him to join PTI.
Earlier, Qaiser, father of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President, Irfan Qaiser, had invited Imran to hold a public gathering in his home town Chiniot. A number of business community leaders from Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) were also present on this occasion.
