CoAS stays away from dinner

President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday night hosted a dinner in honour of Chinese State Councillor Dai Bingguo. It was not attended by Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, according to a private TV channel. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman and Naval Chief Asif Sandila participated in the dinner.
COAS had also stayed away from the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for the Chinese delegation on Friday. Meanwhile, Dai Bingguo, State Councillor China, called on Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General Headquarters.
