NEW YORK: The euro pared losses against the Swiss franc after Swiss National Bank Chairman Philipp Hildebrand said on Swiss TV that the central bank would do all it can to defend the exchange rate.
Hildebrand also said he believed the euro zone will survive but they are looking at all possible scenarios.
The euro was last little changed at 1.2200 francs and the dollar was up 0.1 percent at 0.9366 francs.
