Hats off to the Election Commission for implementing Article 63-1 of the Constitution. But why is it applicable only to our Parliamentarians? Surely this should apply equally to all the other pillars of government - the bureaucracy, the judiciary and the armed forces etc.
I hope, the summary being moved by the Law Ministry on this will cover, that any and all people being paid from the government treasury, should be Pakistani's and cannot hold dual nationality nor have foreign passports.
