The body of a five-year old girl, who went missing a day back, was found from a waste dump in Faqir Ka Pir area on Sunday. According to DSP City Ahmed Qureshi, Malaika had gone missing from Saturday evening. Her father lodged a complaint at police station of the city by the evening. "Today, early in the morning, a garbage man reported about a body of a child he saw in the waste dump in Balu Shahi Mohala," he informed.
Father of the deceased girl, Muhammad Javed, informed that his two daughters had gone to bring some goods from the market but only the elder one returned. "Tayyaba, six-year old, got angry over some issue with Malaika. She left her in the market," he stated in the report he filed at the police station.
The DSP informed that police had arrested two suspects while the child's body has been sent for post-mortem to Civil Hospital here.
