A fifteen members high officials of Pakistan capital market Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad Stock Exchange, Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC), National Clearing Company of Pakistan (NCCPL), Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) arrived back through Wahgah Border under the leadership of Imtiaz Haydar Commissioner Insurance Division SECP and co-ordinator Aftab Ahmed Chaudhry Managing Director Lahore Stock Exchange.
This tour was arranged by Capital Market Focus Group with the co-ordination of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE).
Head of delegation Imtiaz Haydar and Co-ordinator Aftab Ahmed Chaudhry said that visit was successful. The basic purpose of tour was to co-ordinate between Stock Exchanges of two countries and to promote the investment in the country. During visit "we met with the officials' management and senior members of Delhi and Mumbai Stock Exchange, Securities Exchange Commission of India, Head of Mutual Funds and Insurance Industries. During the meetings it was decided by both sides that co-ordination between the Capital Market should be increased. Investment, Exchange of information between the countries and visit of delegations between the two countries will be helpful for bringing Investors more closely to each other.
Co-ordinator said that visit of the officials of the Capital Markets was the message of peace between the two countries and helpful for strengthening relationships and brotherhood he added.-PR
