While keeping in view the significance of sports activities in grooming of a healthy society, Saint Francis' school system organised a colourful concluding ceremony of the Annual Inter-House Athletics Sport activities for 2010-11 here on Saturday in recognition of students active participation in the event.
At the concluding ceremony, junior and senior students of Saint Francis High School representing various groups showed spirit of their skill, while taking part in march parade, gymnastics', and other display of mettle. During the year-long sports activities, students took part in different games, including badminton, volleyball, basketball, chess, netball, cricket, tug of war, gymnastics, and other athletic games. Owing the outstanding performance of the yellow house group took winner trophy of the event, while runner up and other groups, including green and blue also received trophy for securing various positions.
