Former president of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (HCCI) Haji Mohammad Yaqub has expressed concern over the 24 hours gas shut down in the name of low gas pressure at the industrial area of Hyderabad, Kotri and Noriabad on Saturday. He said that industrialists had invested billion of rupees on gas power generation and CNG stations and they had to face losses of million of rupees due to gas shut down.
This he said in the meeting with a delegation of Glass Product manufacturer. He said that government would face the losses of millions of dollar of foreign exchange due load management of gas, and it also affect export and employment. Industries of Sindh could not afford the gas load management and this is not in the favour of countries economy, he added.
