Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan and sitting Adhoc Judge of AJK Supreme Court Justice Muhammad Ibrahim Zia on Friday sworn in as permanent judges of the apex court. Chief Justice of the AJK SC Justice Muhammad Azam Khan administered the oath to both the newly-appointed judges in a special ceremony held in the Supreme Court building Muzaffarabad.
A senior officer of AJK Law Department earlier read the official notification about the appointment of the two judges. Judges of the superior and subordinate judiciary including Chief Justices of AJK High Courts Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, Justice Chaudhry Munir Hussain, former Chief Justice of AJK Supreme Court Justice Manzoor Hussain Gillani, senior lawyers from various parts of Pakistan and AJK, ministers, members of AJK Legislative Assembly, senior officials of AJK government, prominent social and political personalities and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
