Senior civil judge dismissed from service

Lahore High Court administration committee has dismissed a senior civil judge Muhammad Hamid Khan from service. It has issued final show cause notices to civil judges Muhammad Aslam Dhariwal and Jawad Alam Qureshi.
LHC registrar, Sohail Nasir said, here on Saturday, that proceedings have been initiated by the administrative committee against seven judges including District & Session Judge, Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry, Additional District & Session Judge, Shahid Mahmood, AD&SJ Sadaqatullah Khan, AD&SJ Aqil Hassan Chohan, AD&SJ Azizullah Kallu, Civil Judge Haris Ali Mian, and civil judge Muhammad Dawood Sahi. The committee warned AD&SJ, Muhammad Ittefaq Abbasi and a Civil Judge, Shahbaz Iqbal Tarar to remain careful in future and withheld complaints against them. The committee also dropped disciplinary proceedings against AD&SJ Chaudhry Muhammad Azam and Civil Judge Imran Khurshid and warned them to remain careful in future.
