Indian Navy embroiled on a controversy when it released picture of a Pakistan-made JF-17 jet fighter in an advertisement instead of Indian aircraft on occasion of Navy Day commemorated to mark day of Indian ships bombardment on Karachi in 1971. The mistake was carried forward in the next two pages of the newspaper. There has been no official word from Indian Navy on the issue, Indian media reported. Multirole JF-17 Thunder aircraft was jointly produced by Pakistan & China.
