MUZAFFARABAD: A legislator from Azad Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday condemned Indian shelling across Line of control (LOC) which resulted in killing of four Pakistani soldiers Yesterday and called upon the United Nations to take serious cognizance of ceasefire violations by Indian forces.
Member legislative Assembly Syed Ali Raza Bukhari said that India should be clear that people of Pakistan and its armed forces of Pakistan were fully capable of defending their motherland and would give tit for tat response to them.
Talking to journalists here, Bukhari said the martyred soldiers of Pakistan army sacrificed their lives for the defense of the country and their great sacrifice would be remembered long time.
He said constant violations of ceasefire by Indian troops on LOC was breach of bilateral and international agreements and gross human rights violations harming civilian population.
He said this attitude of the Indian army could trigger a war between the two countries inviting a nuclear tragedy in the region and the world must take notice of this to avoid any misadventure.
