Modest business on grain market

Modest trading was again witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday due to lack of buying interest, dealers said. On the rice sector Irri-6 sindh low type retained overnight level at Rs 3125 while the best type shed Rs 25 t0 Rs 3175, they said.
Only one change was witnessed on the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 900 and the best type also shed Rs 100 to Rs 1000, they said. On the grams sector guwar Sindh and Punjab were quoted higher at Rs 6700-6800, bajra low type lost Rs 50 to Rs 2350 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 2800 other items did not show any change in process of trading, they said. No change was seen on the cereals side, they added.
